If you’re looking to try something different, check out one of our newest members, Mark Taylor, on his unicycle at Jackrabbit Trail.
Mark says the most difficult part of unicycling is going downhill. The pedal shaft is locked in with the wheel, so they are always turning. There is a break under the seat to slow down, but Mark says he’s always ready to jump off when losing control. If building your core and balance are a priority, try unicycling.
Mark and his wife Beth recently moved to the mountains from Woodstock, GA, where they were both active with SORBA Woodstock. Mark served as Bike Patrol Director and Vice President with SORBA Woodstock.
We welcome Mark and Beth to SABA; both are active mountain bikers as well and are interested in helping with trail maintenance.
