Volunteer Activities and Government Shutdown – UPDATED

UPDATE – 1/23/2018: Volunteer Activities have Resumed

Hello Volunteers,

Due to the recent federal government shutdown, we have been instructed to contact all volunteer groups to inform them that they are not authorized to conduct volunteer activities on US Forest Service lands during the shutdown.  Volunteer activities may resume once the federal government has returned to normal operations.  Please forward this email to your respective volunteers for each of your volunteer groups.  We value all you do as volunteers and apologize for this inconvenience.
